Saw the Cirrus out in the sunlight today, after it having arrived from the European Championships at about 2200 last night! Most of it is in fantastic condition. The LX 7007 is set up with a fancy remote on the control stick, so the only thing I will need to reach on the panel is the radio to switch channels. Andrew helped with getting power to the FLARM unit, so one of tomorrow's jobs will be to secure the rest of it onto the back of the panel somehow. Also still looking for some lead before I can go flying! The owner forgot to bring his weights along.. Asked one of the local juniors if the club here would have any. He said they don't, and reckons I could just find a bag somewhere and pile it full of sand!
Going to win the 'Nicest Cirrus' award for sure:
More people still arriving at the campsite. Fairly jealous of some of the setups the teams here have!
